AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–HID, a global leader in trusted identity solutions, has been awarded a contract to provide Finland with a new high-security driver license solution and personalization services, integrating the European solution for second generation smart tachographs. This collaboration reflects HID’s commitment to strengthening the safety and efficiency of Finland’s transportation systems.
Finland will benefit from a comprehensive, customized and configurable solution that will integrate the necessary software, hardware and equipment to align with the road authorities’ vision of a simplified and efficient digital document issuance system.
